Senator Sander is the longest serving Independent member of Congress in American history. He has run in the Democratic presidential primary elections on two occasions in 2016 and 2020, and in January 2023 became chair of the Senate Health, Education, Labor and Pensions Committee. His new book 'It's Okay to Be Angry About Capitalism' is available now from your local bookshop.
